Please RSVP no later than 11:59pm, on Sunday the 18th of August, 2024.

This is to ensure we can accommodate you comfortably and cater appropriately.

You can RSVP via our wedding website.

We understand that things happen last minute, therefore if you need to cancel your initial RSVP, please let us know at your earliest convenience.

What is the dress code?

We are excited for you to join us in cocktail or formal attire – feel free to dazzle us in your most fabulous outfit!

Keeping with tradition, we do respectfully ask if you could please refrain from wearing a full white/shades of white outfit.

Thank you kindly!

PS. Phill must wear blue.

How do I get to the venue?

As the venue is a short 10 minute drive from central Gold Coast, we thoroughly recommend staying close by and taking your favourite rideshare service.

Please click the button below to see more information.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Please know that we have decided to close Braeside’s onsite car park so we may enjoy the area for cocktail hour and photos.

There is limited on-street parking available, as well as free parking located at the Merrimac State School, which is a 10 minute walk away from the venue. Unfortunately there is no shuttle service available if you do choose to park at the school.

Please keep in mind that if we are blessed with wet weather, the car park will still remain closed.

The onsite car park will only be accessible for disability access. If you need to access the car park, please let us know ahead of time so we may inform the venue of your arrival.

What will your wedding-day timeline look like?

Our wedding day will begin with the ceremony at 2:45pm, followed by cocktail hour at 3:30pm and ending with the reception, commencing from 5pm.

We’ve planned quite the memorable day and can’t wait to share it all with you!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Please arrive to the venue at 2:15pm, 30 minutes before the ceremony begins at 2:45pm, to ensure you have plenty of time to find a seat and enjoy the moment without the rush!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Our special day will feature both indoor and outdoor events.

We have initially planned to enjoy our ceremony and cocktail hour in the Braeside gardens, with the reception taking place indoors, within the pavilion.

If we are blessed with wet weather on the day, rest assured alternative arrangements have been organised where we all will enjoy the festivities indoors.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

As hospitality professionals, there is absolutely no chance you will go hungry, so please don’t worry!

We will be offering a variety of delicious canapes during cocktail hour, followed by a family style feast during reception. All we ask is please ensure you notify us of your dietary needs (if any) You can notify us when you complete your RSVP.

Beverages will include a selection of wines, beers and non-alcoholic alternatives.

Will there be a bar tab?

We are delighted to inform you that we will have a bar tab for the evening, that consists of only beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

However, please know that if we miraculously complete the bar tab before the night has finished,  we will be moving to a cash bar.

Braeside wishes to advise that they are a cashless venue and will only accept card transactions.

Can I bring my children?

We love your little ones, but we wish to have an adult-only ceremony and reception. We hope this advance notice helps you make any necessary arrangements.

We thank you kindly for understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

As we plan our special day, we wish to keep our guest list limited, with only our nearest and dearest for an intimate and personal celebration.

Therefore, only those who are on the invitation are invited as our guest, if anything changes, we will of course let you know.

We thank you kindly for understanding.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all!

However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be incredibly kind.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

We will communicate any important updates or changes through our wedding website and via email. Please ensure you add your current email address when you RSVP so we can keep you informed.
