The good old days, back when life was simplier, Allie was studying and bartending and Dan was running beer pong competitions.
We met at the uni bar, the Royal Exchange Hotel, the place where both Allie and Dan were working.
2015
The year we started getting ‘serious’ about our relationship, we decided it was time to take the leap and move in together!
Our most favourite memory of the year was when we went to Melbourne Cup at Flemington for Dan’s birthday. We had a bit too much wine and a whole lot of fun!
2016

This year we went on 2 major holidays, 1 to Japan and 1 to Thailand.
Japan
Our top highlights were bike riding around Kyoto – where Allie ploughed into a group of distinguished businessmen, meeting the head distiller of Yamazaki Whisky, the Samurai Museum and Allie bartending in Osaka!

Our most favourite memory was going on a family holiday with Allie’s parents to attend Yingy and Denis’s wedding! The most incredible wedding of the year!

2017
Amongst all the days we were working hard and maintaining a busy social life this year, our two most favourite memories of 2017 was visiting Dan’s parents in Adelaide and attending the beautiful wedding of Allie’s Uncle Wes and his wife, Kirsten.
2018
We spent this year living as hobbits, hiding away to save all the money we could for our trips away to the Whitsundays, Bali and Byron. Our stand-out favourite memories was seeing a massive turtle in the reef when we snorkelled on the Great Barrier Reef and when we went to a swanky restaurant for valentines day in Bali.
But our most favourite memory this year was going to Byron and attending the beautiful wedding of our long family friends, Adam and Colin.
2019
This year was a bit tough for us, as we navigated a long distance relationship.
Our favourite memories of this year is when we visited some amazing wine venues and of course, the epic helicopter trip Harlan gifted Allie for her Birthday!
2020
The year our world closed down
2020 was the year Allie joined Dan in Melbourne for vintage!
Other than working tremendous hours and immersing ourselves in all things wine making, we enjoyed the forced covid holiday and we adopted our first cat, our foster fail, Deaf cat.
2021
As covid was still rampant, we decided to move out to the Yarra Valley for a bit more space. Here we made the most of our time building strong relationships. Our favourite memory was our frequent wine walks with Jess and of course, finally being allowed to cross the border to come back home to Queensland.
Oh this year we also got Whisky, our Maine Coon, growing our little family to 4!
2022
Not much to say here besides the fact that many milestones were achieved this year!
We bought our first house and we got engaged!
We hold a deep gratitude to Allie’s parents for supporting and housing all four of us for a year, whilst we worked towards our goals!
2023
This year was busy with all things wedding planning and a quick trip over to Perth to watch the UFC for Dan’s birthday. Next to the event of our epic engagement party, our most favourite memory was having the absolute pleasure of being apart of the beautiful wedding of Peta and Daniel.
